Following the Steps of the Scientific Method:

a) Problem

b) Hypothesis (not a prediction, the the science)

c) Experiment: step by step procedure. Remember: all experiments must be replicated, which means that you must be specific in all amounts, timings, etc.

d) Results: Only tables and graphs
a) graphs with title and axes labeled with correct units
b) Tables with titles, labels, units

e) Interpretations
i) Discuss patterns and trends in your graphs/results. Discuss outliers.
ii) Discuss REASONS for your results! Do not simply indicate what happened,
but WHY it happened. Your discussion should be at the level of your textbook.
If your results are different from what is expected, discuss reasons as to why
this might occur.
iii) Include information from other labs and research regarding your topic.
Make sure to cite your source(s).

f) Conclusion: simply restate the answer to your hypothesis.
For example: As temperature rises, the breathing rate of fish increases.
